Review : As one enters into the restaurant, one is impressed with a visible attempt to conform to the traditional Odia-ness with the neatly arranged brass tumblers and 'lota' on the dining table, as were being used in the traditional Odia homes in olden days. And subsequently when we order a typical Odia dinner, it arrives served in equally impressive brass tray and brass bowls.
We chose to have Dahi Pakhal with Saga-Muga, Chhatu Rai, Kakharu Phula Bhaja and Badi Chura. Each of the items did have a touch of the authentic Odia typicality. We were made to understand that Manja Rai and Nadia Bara are two of the items which are most in demand by the visitors to the restaurant every day.
This restaurant at Sahid Nagar, serves as only a branch of the main restaurant which is located at Chandrasekharpur, Behind Trident College, Infocity Area, Bhubaneswar.
